While on a family holiday one early morning i told my wife that i was just popping out for half an hour. Hours later I returned with some fantastic photos taken at a small town junk yard, it was such an inspirational scene, this photo being one of my favourites, it reminds of another time.
Every boy wants to shave before his time, so when my son aged nearly four years in this photo, became curious and started asking question about shaving, I pulled the blades from my razor, steamed up the bathroom, covered his face in shaving cream and with a few tips left him to it. Moments like these are so inspirational as a photographer, we had a fantastic time and with this image created a fantastic memory.
We all know our children grow so fast. Capturing a moment like this, today, ensures that you have that precious memory tomorrow, this moment was captured with my close friends beautiful Daugther.
While visiting the Farmers Markets in Matakana, on a sunny winter morning. On our way home we decided to stop at the Dragon Fly Cafe, while pulling into the driveway I noticed alot of native birds feeding on the fruit trees around the cafe, so while my wife went in to order our breakfast, I started shooting,Some time later went inside and found my wife had eaten alone and my breakfast was stone cold,but I came away with some fantastic photos of wax ...
